How do I record a personal purchase in a group?

Record an expense in that group with yourself as both the payer and the only participant. It remains visible to the group and counts in its spending total, but creates no new debt for friends: you paid your own full share.

What to do

   In the group where you want to see the purchase, add an expense and enter its title, amount, currency and date.

   Select yourself as the payer. Choose the equal split and tap Only me so only the signed-in account participates.

   Save. The purchase appears in the group's expense list and Totals. For a €20 personal purchase, you paid €20 and your share is €20; everyone else's share is zero. Clear active list filters if the entry is hidden.
